Review: L'oréal Lash Serum

1. Week

2. Week

3. week

4. week

I'm just going to start of saying, I have natural long lashes, so I didn't really expect anything major to happen when I first purchased this.

I used this twice a day throughout 4 weeks. I didn't see any amazing changes in terms of how long my lashes got. However, the lashes closest to me tear duct became a lot stronger and there appeared a lot more in that area (you can actually see that when you look at the picture from the first week and compare it to the fourth week). Though, my long lashes didn't grow longer nor did there come a lot more of them, they seemed a lot stronger - I felt that a lot less would fall out, when I removed my makeup. A thing I also really liked about this product is how my mascara would apply on top of it. It felt as if there was a barrier between my lashes and the mascara and it actually felt really nice. Also my lashes looked longer when I applied mascara on top of it. Now, that might seem like a contradiction but what I mean is au natural my lashes didn't look longer, but the difference between the serum + mascara vs. mascara on it's own, was huge.

Overall, considering that my lashes already were in a good condition, it still managed to improve my lashes in terms of how strong they are. I could live without it, but I like the thought of taking care of your lashes and not tearing to much on them. I would definitely recommend this and to prove it, I bought one for my mum for her birthday and she loves it as well! I bought mine on Fragrance Direct.

Review: Origins Clear Improvement..

I have been wanting this mask ever since I saw the Danish bloggers Beautyjunkie rave about it. I didn't have a lot of expectations to this mask, as I haven't ever tried a mask which did anything for my skin. This mask however is amazing - I used it in areas where I had impurities and after taking it off, it was as if it had dragged out all the impurities. My skin looked so much clearer, however you will have to use a moisturizer afterwards, as the skin can feel a little tight after using it.

I use it right after I have gotten out of shower, so my pores are open. I then apply it to my t-zone, as that's where I get impurities most often, then I let it soak in and dry. Once it has dried I thoroughly wash it off and then apply some Embryolisse to my skin. I use it once a week.

I haven't broken out from it yet, so it is suitable for sensitive/dry skin, as long as you take care of your skin after you have used it. As you can hear I'm in love with this mask and I would definitely recommend it.

Have you tried it?

Last Friday..

This was my last friday night, it was the last party of the year on my school and therefore the last time I got to party out there, as I'm graduating soon. As you probably have figured out, I was wearing my Factory by Eric Hart dress and I love it! Don't worry, the beauty reviews will come soon as I just received two MAC items!

New In: Factory by Eric Hart

I got this dress last thursday and I flippin' love it! It's got print but without being a print which goes out of style within a few months, like leopard. It has slits at the shoulder, so you show a little skin without it being too much. If you're a slim girl, you will look slimmer all the right places. Now for the best part - I got it on sale. I got this dress on ASOS and it was reduced to almost 2000 Danish krones less and I immediately thought "yes", if you're looking for a nice going out dress, I can definitely recommend this beauty, as I am in love with it! You can find it right here.

So helpful!

I just saw this video on youtube and it is SO helpful. If you're one of those girls, like myself, who has a skincare routine just because and don't really know how the different products work, this is the video for you. The pixiwoo sisters sit down and talk with Caroline Hirons about different skincare products and she explains it in such an easy and understandable way. Enjoy!

Review: Calvin Klein Tempting Glimmer Eyeshadow..

Lately I've been trying out quite some Calvin Klein products and I have to admit there's a huge difference between the products in terms of quality, colour pay-off and longevity. This is an alright product, but it depends on what you like in a product.

This colour is "Cashmere Plum" and it's a really pretty dusky pink. I don't usually go for pink eyeshadow, as it reminds of my horrendous years of playing with makeup when I was a child. I wore this at my prom, as I also wore a pink dress. It's a quite sheer colour, but it's buildable. It's stunning on the eyes - think grecian goddess look. It's really suitable for blue eyes, which suits me just fine as I'm a blue eyed gal. It doesn't have the best staying power and that's definitely a downside to the product, but if you use a primer it saves you at least a couple of hours before you have to reapply. I did feel like I had to stack on a lot of product and considering you get such a small amount, I think it's a little annoying. I got it off Fragrance Direct for £2.99, so I can't really complain. This is such a gorgeous colour and I would repurchase if the colour pay-off was better than it is, until then I will look for a dupe. If you want to try out the eyeshadow click right here.

Have you tried the Calvin Klein Tempting Glimmer Eyeshadow?

Celebrating My Mum..

Yesterday we went out to celebrate my mum's birthday and it was so much fun. My mum's birthday is actually tomorrow, but she's working and so she wanted to celebrate it when we had lots of time. The food was delish. The waiter tried to guess my mum's age and he thought she was 44 - she's turning 55 years old tomorrow #goodgenes.
